What’s so exciting about the Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore?

28 Dec 2008
If you only do one destination race in 2009, this is THE one.

Why? Mmmm - let me see. Great shopping, exciting food, safe and secure surrounds, AND this is the gateway to Asia and perhaps the best meeting of east and west you find anywhere on the planet and that's all before you race!

Oh! And there are 75 qualifying slots to the Clearwater based Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 in 2009. (Now here's an "excellent" change to qualify, and it's a whole lot easier than trying to beat those darn pesky ultra fast age groupers in sold out races across the USA and Europe!)

And in 2009 Singapore presents the best course yet!

That's right, we listen!  Organisers, the Hi-Tri Singapore directors have analysed the research from the second edition of this fabulous race and have made changes in many areas, fine tuned others and in their search for the ultimate Ironman 70.3 experience acted on what you the competitors fed back to us.

We've fine tuned the  swim leg, neatened up the bike course and caressed the run course into the best personal challenge you'll find! Beat the heat, beat the humidity! Race in conditions similar to that you'll find in Hawaii and in Clearwater!

Entry is now open until March 8th of 1500 starters, which ever comes first, for individuals and relay teams.

Singapore March 22nd 2009, the Aviva Ironman 70.3! Answer the Challenge!
