Exciting news! The reigning Ford Ironman World Champion, Craig Alexander, and the 2007 Ironman world champ, Chris McCormack are heading to Singapore to light up an already star-studded field in the 2009 Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore.

And Singapore's Aviva Ironman 70.3 is unfinished business for Craig. He dropped from the inaugural race in 2007 with a puncture on the bike course whilst leading. Craig is the only athlete on the planet to win both the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, and the Ironman World Championship. Now in possession of both those crowns, he's back to claim the Singapore title too.
And how good is this; the 2007 Hawaiian Champ, and previous ITU World Champion, Chris McCormack is also heading to Singapore - keen to get some early racing under his belt as he launches into the new season ahead.
The quiet, let my racing do the talking "Crowie" and the effervescent, ‘have a chat' Macca are the perfect foils for each other and you just know this is going to be a race to watch!

With every winner so far also entered for the 2009 Aviva race, nothing is certain for our world champs either!
