The Race Course & Rules are important information for every participating athlete. This section of the website shows the details of the route and competitors' race rules. Please note that each leg of the race has a time limit as shown below: Swim – 1.9kms - Cut off is 1:10 after your wave start in the swim. Bike – 90.1kms - Cut off is 5:00 after your original wave start, (with an intermediate cut-off after lap 2 to ensure on time road re-opening. Run - 21.1kms - Cut off at the finish is 8:30 after your original wave start. These time limits allow us to continue to run this event with the final time the same as allowed in the Ford Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Florida USA. This time is derived from half the maximum time allowed for the awesome Ironman race. More details of the route will be announced upon confirmation by authorities.

| Ironman World Championship 70.3 Slots |
|  | | | We have the initial information of the allotment of slots (there are 35 qualifying slots to the Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Florida) listed now in the Competitor Information area. Updates of these slots will be on the notice board at Registration. |

|  | | The Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore will pay a minimum of $USD25,000, paid equally between male and female pro athletes only.
In accordance with WTC policy the allocation of prizemoney will be subject to the application of the 8% rule.
Under this rule, in order to qualify for prizemoney an athlete must finish within 8% of the time of the first place getter. Final prize money placement will be as per WTC regulations at race date. |
